Hey there!
Happy Friday and I hope those who celebrated Thanksgiving had a wonderful Thanksgiving. And if you don't celebrate Thanksgiving, then I hope you had a nice, restful day.
I honestly wanted to write something more meaningful today, but my brain is officially out of juice. Dead. Kaput. Brain melt.
A lot has been going on behind the scenes while I've been running the Sacrimony #5 Kickstarter campaign and things have been super hectic. My cousins visited for a good 2 weeks and we took a 6 hour road trip back and forth from Maryland to enjoy the Haltech World Cup at the Maryland International Raceway, which was super fun. I also did lots of touristy things with them all over New York, which is always exhausting. And shortly after they left, I had to help my mom prepare to leave the country and while all that's been going on....
I've been trying to get Muffin to be friends with yet another beautiful orange lad that I rescued from the streets.
Say hi to Pumpkin! He's very skittish and needs to be neutered and slowly, but steadily, he's getting used to being around Muffin and vise versa.
Anyway, it's been a LOT all while running a Kickstarter and having to do all the things involved post-kickstarter, so excuse me while I turn my brain off completely and sit around, drooling and staring into space at nothing in particular over the weekend. After that, it's back to the grind on Monday.
A lot of things there are limited quantities because I'm cleaning house and once something's gone, it's gone forever. The shop will be open until December 3, 2022 and then it's closed for the rest of the year, while I make plans for 2023.
And hoo boy, do I have plans for next year...

Hey there! I know I should be going on and on about how I'm so excited that Sacrimony #6 is going live next week and I totally am excited but I wanted to take a moment to talk about something particularly special to me as it's still fresh in my head. Last weekend, my bestie and I went to the Met Museum to check out Vincent Van Gogh's Cypresses. I knew it was going to be depressing and resonate with me on a lot of levels, but I didn't realize how hard it would actually hit me. Van Gogh has...
Hi there! I know that I'm in the process of fulfilling Sacrimony #5, but I'm the kind of person who likes planning a few steps ahead. It's the only way I can stay on track, especially with a long-term project that consumes most of my time. A few folks have probably heard me talking about this already, but very early next year, I'll be compiling Sacrimony #1-5 into a trade paperback. This is very exciting for me, as Sacrimony was always meant to be more of a 'graphic novel' type story than...
Hi there! Sacrimony #5 has just 4 days left on Kickstarter and we're creeping closer and closer to being funded! If you're still sitting on the fence about backing, I'm here to tell you why readers love Sacrimony and why you should back Sacrimony before time runs out. 1) This is probably the most obvious, but just take a look at the art. If you want more of this fed directly into your oculars, why have you not backed Sacrimony yet? Go do it right now! 2) Youβre getting a fantasy story that...
