✨ You've got questions, I've got answers.. maybe.

Hi there!

I know that I'm in the process of fulfilling Sacrimony #5, but I'm the kind of person who likes planning a few steps ahead. It's the only way I can stay on track, especially with a long-term project that consumes most of my time.

A few folks have probably heard me talking about this already, but very early next year, I'll be compiling Sacrimony #1-5 into a trade paperback. This is very exciting for me, as Sacrimony was always meant to be more of a 'graphic novel' type story than single issue floppies. Though, don't get me wrong, I love making the floppies and all the fun collectible covers, but I feel like a 150+ page binge read does the story a lot more justice.

That being said, what's actually happening with the Chapter 1 TPB?

First off, here's the inks for one of the covers I'll be offering for that campaign, which will go live on February 2, 2023.

Second, it's going to include all the material from issues 1-5, but there's going to be extra content. I end up with a lot of page constraints with the floppy books (for cost reasons, because in the long run, doing a 40 page floppy is going to cost more than doing a 30 page one), so there's always some material that gets cut out. I'm going to be including those pages into the TPB. There's going to be a good 10 pages of new material in there.

I realize 10 pages isn't a whole lot, but they will definitely add some more value and insight to the story.

I'm also going to have an "Extended Edition" TPB with a different cover and even more pages, I'm guessing closer to 200 pages. The Extended Edition will include world history for things that we've seen so far, some more info about the gods, character bios and my favorite: hopefully a good 20 pages of Q+A comics, depending on how many questions people ask.

This is where you come in! If you have a question for a character (or for me) leave it in this handy dandy form right here and it may get answered in comic form when Sacrimony Chapter 1 happens!

I look forward to hearing from you and answering your questions!

Have a great weekend,
-M

Hey there! I know I should be going on and on about how I'm so excited that Sacrimony #6 is going live next week and I totally am excited but I wanted to take a moment to talk about something particularly special to me as it's still fresh in my head. Last weekend, my bestie and I went to the Met Museum to check out Vincent Van Gogh's Cypresses. I knew it was going to be depressing and resonate with me on a lot of levels, but I didn't realize how hard it would actually hit me. Van Gogh has...

Hey there! Happy Friday and I hope those who celebrated Thanksgiving had a wonderful Thanksgiving. And if you don't celebrate Thanksgiving, then I hope you had a nice, restful day. I honestly wanted to write something more meaningful today, but my brain is officially out of juice. Dead. Kaput. Brain melt. A lot has been going on behind the scenes while I've been running the Sacrimony #5 Kickstarter campaign and things have been super hectic. My cousins visited for a good 2 weeks and we took a...

Hi there! Sacrimony #5 has just 4 days left on Kickstarter and we're creeping closer and closer to being funded! If you're still sitting on the fence about backing, I'm here to tell you why readers love Sacrimony and why you should back Sacrimony before time runs out. 1) This is probably the most obvious, but just take a look at the art. If you want more of this fed directly into your oculars, why have you not backed Sacrimony yet? Go do it right now! 2) You’re getting a fantasy story that...
